The Frederick
Rescue Mission is a private, non-profit Christian ministry providing faith-based recovery
and rehabilitation programs to needful individuals and families in order to facilitate
their return as productive and contributing members of the community. The Mission serves
to meet the immediate needs of the hungry, homeless and hopeless of our community by
providing emergency food, shelter and clothing. With generous donations from people like
yourself, the Mission is able to feed, clothe, house and reach out to the homeless
population.

Housing for men, women and children
Daily chapel devotions and Bible studies
Clothing and household vouchers
Food distribution program
SHELTER SERVICES:
The men and women at the Mission are given the opportunity to
get their lives "on track" through the following shelter services: Three meals
daily, spiritual discipleship, daily chapel, Bible studies, addiction recovery programs,
family & life skills training and referrals 10 community agencies The Frederick Rescue
Mission does not restrict access to services based on gender, origin, or religion.
FOOD SERVICES:
The Rescue Mission is Frederick County's largest
food provider. The Bread of Life Soup Kitchen serves over 100,000 meals annually. The
Mission serves as a food distribution center for emergency and on-going community needs.
RECYCLING
OPERATIONS:
The Rescued Treasures Thrift Shop and Furniture Store provides
individuals the opportunity to purchase clothing for $1.00 and household items. Clothing
vouchers are available to individuals who cannot afford to purchase needed items. The
warehouse facility recycles 70,000 pounds of donated clothing each month which is shipped
overseas to third world countries where the need is great.

CENTER:
The Lindsey Learning Center is available to those
seeking to improve their educational, career, and spiritual development. The center
provides:
Computer Assisted Instruction * GED Classes
Individual Tutoring * Spiritual Development
Job Skills Training * Vocational Referrals * Seminars
