"Opening Yourself To God’s
Blessings" [6th Sunday After Pentecost] 2 Kings 5:1-14
God uses all kinds of people in all kinds
of ways. In this story God uses an Israelite slave girl to reach
Naaman, the commander of Aram’s army. Who is God using to try to
reach you and are you listening? What is getting in the way of your
blessing?

"Prayer and Meditation Service [7th
Sunday After Pentecost] Psalm 66
Report from World Changers mission project
in Durham, NC
This is a Psalm of praise and a call to
prayer. The meditation will highlight verses 16-20 as an affirmation that
God answers prayer. The prayer time will replace the sermon in
the order of worship. Some of the time will be structured, some will be
open-ended. We will also offer the opportunity for anointing if anyone so
desires.

"What to Expect from a Sunday"
[8th Sunday After Pentecost] Psalm 84
This Psalm is a prayer of desire - desire
to be in the house of the Lord. The focus will be on our desire for the
things of God: worship in God's house, fellowship with God's people,
service to others in God's name.
