What We Believe & Why ... Skeptics Welcome John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, wrote a sermon in 1789 in which he asked, "Why has Christianity done so little good in the world?" We might well ask the same question today. One of Wesley's conclusions was that many Christians didn't really know the basics of the faith well enough to explain it to others. With this in mind, we'll spend several weeks reviewing and discussing the basics of our Christian faith
